Breast Lift

The breast lift, or mastopexy, elevates and firms the shape of a woman’s breasts. By removing the excess skin on the breast and tightening the surrounding tissue, the breast can be reshaped and properly supported. This procedure can also reduce the size of the areola (pigmented skin surrounding the nipple) if it has become enlarged over time. Breast-feeding, pregnancy, weight fluctuation, aging and gravity can all change the shape of the breast. The ultimate goal of the breast lift is to increase firmness and elasticity of the skin.
