LIPSG Sponsors Summit, Honors Heroes
On July 29th, Long Island Plastic Surgical Group will partner with Nassau County Public Safety Committee Chair and Legislator Dennis Dunne to host the first annual Long Island Emergency Services Summit. For the first time, emergency services groups such as police officers, EMTs and firefighters will be brought together with hospital executives and healthcare professionals to talk about a team approach to emergency care and improving the safety of the community. Special lifesaving hero awards will also be presented. Special guests include United States Congressman and Homeland Security Chairman Peter T. King, and Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano.
The Summit event will include a vendor expo, as well as several panel discussions. Long Island Plastic Surgical Group doctors will participate in panel discussions representing the practice’s Burn And Complex Would Management Center and Microsurgery and Hand Reconstruction Center where LIPSG surgeons study and practice advanced techniques to treat the immediate and long-term affects of burns, severe wounds and other trauma.
