Male Rhinoplasty

Patient 2

Dr. Reish

A man in his 20s, two months post-op rhinoplasty. The patient had a dorsal hump, over projecting nasal tip creating an elongated appearance of his nose, and a drooping nasal tip preoperatively. Dorsal hump reduction, tip elevation, and subtle nasal tip deprojection were performed in order to shorten his elongated nose. It is important not to elevate the tip too much, but just enough for a natural appearance of the nose. This patient is also very tall and therefore the nose must not be made too small. The overall goal is a conservative change to the nose for a natural looking result which still retains a masculine appearance of the nose.
