Last month the Second Annual Dr. Vincent DiGregorio Memorial Golf Outing was held at Gardiner’s Bay Country Club. On September 16th, family, friends, staff, and colleagues gathered in his memory on this Shelter Island golf course that was near and dear to his heart.
After the tournament, attendees gathered for dinner where Dr. Barry Douglas unveiled a tribute painting of Dr. Di.
Dr. Vincent DiGregorio was a respected and award-winning surgeon with Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. For many years, he volunteered with ReSurge International to provide surgical care to people living in geographies where there were few surgeons and little or no access to treatment. Proceeds from the outing were donated to the Dr. Vincent DiGregorio Fellowship Fund with ReSurge, which continues his legacy. The fund supports his passion of training doctors and building surgical capacity in developing countries.
