Dr. Kilgo
A patient in her 30s desired breast augmentation. She preferred placement of 415 cc smooth round silicone implants in the submuscular plane. Her soft tissue coverage was judged to be thin and she was deemed to be at risk for bottoming out with an implant of that size. In order to minimize the risk of bottoming out, absorbable mesh was placed at the time of breast augmentation. The postoperative photos were taken approximately 3 weeks after her surgery.
