As was recently shared in an article by Spa & Beauty Today, LIPSG and Deep Blue Med Spa are proud to offer free virtual consultations to all essential workers who are suffering from rashes, breakouts, and other skin irritation as a result of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Board-certified Plastic Surgical PA Melissa Colletti-White has also created an instructional skincare video to help our selfless frontline workers learn how to prevent and heal skincare issues caused by wearing PPE.
This initiative was sparked by LIPSG’s Dr. Thomas Davenport, who noticed an increase in skin issues amongst his colleagues wearing PPE while he was volunteering as an ER doctor at NYU Winthrop’s COVID unit. At LIPSG and Deep Blue Med Spa, we are honored to offer our specialized services and expertise in support of all essential workers who give so generously of themselves during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
