Dr. Rachel A. Ruotolo will be participating in the 2nd Annual SmileTrain Family Day on June 2nd to celebrate one of her outstanding, brave patients.

Gerard Avellaneda was born on January 5th, 2016 with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. At just 4 months of age, he underwent his first surgery and received his “forever smile.” Through the entire process, Gerard showed nothing short of strength and perseverance. He has truly been an inspiration to many. For this, SmileTrain has chosen to honor him at their 2nd Annual SmileTrain Family Day.
