Yesterday was the fifth Creative Cups™ gala and auction at Adelphi University. Creative Cups plays an important role in raising awareness for breast cancer and raising money to offset the costs of running the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Group. Long Island Plastic Surgical Group is a long-time sponsor of this event and a passionate supporter of the Adelphi program. This year, the Creative Cups gala displayed 137 bras converted into original works of art. Each entry was beautiful, having its own amazing story and inspiration behind it. The creativity of the bras was truly exceptional, ranging from one made out of medical bills to one made from a 3D printer.
The night was hosted by NBC 4 New York’s Weekend Today co-anchor, Pat Battle, who is a breast cancer survivor herself and a longtime Creative Cups supporter. Attendees of the event were able to walk around the gala to view the incredible Creative Cups and decide which ones they wanted to bid on. It was wonderful to see the support for the Adelphi Breast Cancer Program and the creativity of the contributors at this event!
