Last week Dr. Brian Pinsky attended the The American Association for Hand Surgery 2016 meeting, which took place in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Pinsky contributed to a presentation entitled “Major Upper Extremity Amputations and Prosthetics: Comparison of Prosthetist and Surgeon Preferences.”

Dr. Roger Simpson also attended this meeting and led an instructional course on “Reconstruction of the Burned Hand in Adults and Children.”

This annual conference attracts 300+ physicians. The mission of the American Association for Hand Surgery (AAHS) is to work together to advance global hand care and education. With over 1,300 members, AAHS represents a diverse but cohesive mix of highly respected professionals working in all disciplines of hand surgery and hand therapy. Members include orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, general surgeons, microsurgeons, hand therapists, nurses, and basic scientists from the United States, Canada, and many other countries around the world.
