On June 16th, Dr. Tommaso Addona was awarded as a Healthcare Hero by Schneps Media. Recognized for delivering quality care, this celebratory event was held to spotlight the contributions of members of the healthcare community from New York to Montauk. Dr. Addona explained in an interview, “We provide an excellent service for the local community across all realms of plastic surgery, not only in the clinical aspect where we take care of patients, but also in the educational aspect where we are training tomorrow’s doctors via our residency training program.”
When asked about efforts to give back, Dr. Addona touched on the practice’s partnership with ReSurge International. “They are connecting doctors, plastic surgeons specifically, and communities in underserved countries where there’s a paucity of doctors that can provide the surgical services that a great deal of patients need across the world.” He says, “Being honest and delivering a high level of care for patients, is really all I can offer.”
