Today is the Annual Clinic Day conference for the Brooklyn & Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons and the Nassau Surgical Society.
Hundreds of residents, surgeons, and nurses gathered at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, NY for a full day program. Laurence T. Glickman MD, MSc, FRCSC, FACS is the Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Section of The Nassau Surgical Society and the Past President of The Nassau Surgical Society. Dr. Glickman plans the plastic surgical agenda and moderates this portion of the event.
Presentation topics include: “Peripheral Nerve Surgery: State of the Art” by Dr. Glickman, and “Plastic Surgical Trauma: Extreme Injury Makeover: Baltimore Edition” by Dr. Michael Christy. Visiting professor Dennis Hurwitz, MD, FACS presented on “Enhancing Masculine Features after Massive Weight Loss” and “Enhancing the Feminine Form with Strategic Preservation of Adipose and Lipoaugmentation and Oblique Flankplasty”. Dr. Hurwitz is a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine.
