Case-23544

Dr. Kilgo
A woman in her 50s presented with a recently diagnosed intraductal papilloma of the right breast which required excision. She had a complex past surgical history including a prior breast augmentation mastopexy followed by revisional procedures. She also had history of cancer of the left breast treated with lumpectomy with radiation therapy. She developed a painful capsular contracture of the left breast implant and severe breast asymmetry.
She required reconstruction of the excisional defect on the right with a change of implant and a mastopexy. On the left, she required a total capsulectomy, implant removal and replacement with a revision mastopexy. The post-operative photos were taken 3 months after her procedure.
